According to info revealed by Japanese blog Macotakara, the next full-size iPad will be released closer to the end of 2013, just after the iPhone 5S. The fifth Gen iPad is rumored to get a rear-facing microphone. The details were revealed by Macotakara on the 23rd of May. If the data of Macotakara is true, fans of Apple’s full-size tablets are likely to get the hands on the device closer to the end of 2013. The timing seems reasonable as the iPhone 5S is expected to hit stores in September.

On the 21st of May, Chrome developer François Beaufort announced that Google was going to bring its Google Chrome app launcher to Mac. The developer revealed the news on his Google+ page.
The Chrome OS depends on Web apps, not on traditional programs, and it is evident that the app launcher is an integral part of the overall experience. Thanks to the app launcher, Mac users will be able to access Chrome apps without entering the browser itself. Instead, they will have to use a separate window in the desktop. The beta version of the app launcher is already available for download. Mac users can just download the latest version of Chromium and start a switch command in terminal.

Apple has begun to roll out its new two-step identification verification system all over the globe. By now, Apple ID account owners in 13 new countries have already got access to it and can take advantage of the heightened security feature which was first deployed in March 2013.
The new Apple account verification works the following way. First, the Apple ID holder enters his/her ID and password. Second, the company sends him/her a verification code. Third, the user should enter the code to verify his/her identity.
